ABOUT THE PRESIDENT:
David "DJ" Johnson was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. "DJ" graduated
and was a standout basketball player in 1980 at Hickman High School in
Columbia. Upon graduating from Hickman he then went to Fergus Falls Community
College and graduated with a Associates of Arts degree in 1983 and received
First Team All-American basketball honors.

After being highly recruited by
Division I and II schools, he then attended Augustana College, Sioux Falls,
South Dakota and completed his Bachelors degree in Health, Physical Education
and Recreation in 1985. "DJ" then became a Graduate Assistant Coach for the
Augustana College basketball program. During his six months as the Graduate
Assistant he helped Augustana recruit one of its strongest classes in recent
years. In 1992 he completed his masters degree in Sports Management in
Alabama.
In the winter of 1986 "DJ" was signed to play for an Australian Professional
Basketball Team. During his five seasons in as a player in Australia, he was
the Development Director of Basketball. There he managed and implemented
elementary and high school leagues, camps, private tutoring and coaching
clinics for thousands of youth and adults in Australia. David Johnson was
highly regarded for his basketball management and instructional abilities,
which produced quality players and programs.
From 1990 to current DJ has coached, taught, recruited and directed at the high
school, junior college and four year college levels and has built solid
programs through his hard work and dedication.
